Suicide Prevention Awareness

You Matter.

You Are Not Alone.

Task Tackler is a local Topeka handyman service, and we're also neighbors. This page is here year-round to share hope, encourage honest conversations, point to trusted support, and remember those we've lost. Reaching out is a strong thing to do, and support is available.

Need Support Right Now?

If you or someone you know needs support now, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Free and confidential support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Why We Walk

Suicide prevention is deeply personal to our family. In February 2020, we lost our 16-year-old nephew, Tyler, to suicide. He was ornery, funny, caring, loved video games, and was the best cousin to our girl. Our family was better with Tyler in it.

We walk in Tyler’s memory and support 988 because we want others to know they are not alone. If you’re struggling, please stay. Make it through the moment and call or text 988. You matter.
